Paul has been in the media/betting industry for the past 25 years and during that time has made a name for himself as one of the top tipsters in the country having won the prestigious Racing Post Naps tipping Championship three times in the last 10 years, runner-up once and third twice.
As a youngster Paul got a bug for the sport by riding out in the summer holidays for various trainers in the north of England.
Paul has also presented on national and local radio (Talk Sport and City Talk 105.9) and commentated at 13 racetracks in England, two in America and one in Australia.
He currently broadcasts on Timeform Radio and is the resident tipster for the Daily Star Sunday (AKA Moorestyle) and Morning Star (Farringdon).
In his 20’s he played Badminton at county level and even earlier in life had a final trial for Merseyside Boys Football squad which would have led to a trial for either Liverpool or Everton, sadly he failed at the final hurdle.
Paul has a love of red wine, real ale, long lingering baths during which he devours a whole box of chocolate fingers while playing the banjo.
