Simon is the chief football tipster for easyodds.com and has quickly established himself as one of the brightest young talents in the industry.
He caught the betting bug at a young age due to his family’s long-standing involvement in the horse racing industry before honing his exchanges skills whilst working for Betfair.
Combining his love of betting and writing, Simon has had monthly columns in Gambling Online and Bluff Magazine (poker being his other love), and has also reported on international tournaments for Poker Verdict, interviewing some of the world’s finest players en route.
Specialising in laying odds-on shots, he loves nothing more than going against the grain when so-called big clubs travel to the more unpretentious grounds across the land.
He divides his footballing passion between Manchester United and Stevenage FC. Arguably Simon’s best claim to fame was being United mascot for the 1-0 win over Blackburn Rovers in the 1994/95 season, where he claims to have beaten Peter Schmeichel with a well-taken penalty at the age of 9.
A regular contributor to the easyodds podcast, his Premiership ‘best bets’ have produced an ROI of over 40% in 2011.
