Swansea v Liverpool (Sun, 13:30, SS1)
Simon’s recommended tip:
Swansea To Win @ 3.65 – BET NOW
I think Swansea should be favourites to beat Liverpool at the Liberty Stadium and 3.65 on a home win offers good value.
The Swans have a sensational home record since being promoted to the top flight. They’ve lost just 5/25 Premier League games in Wales – the same amount as Champions League holders Chelsea in that time! They’ve only lost 1/6 home fixtures under new boss Michael Laudrup and they got an impressive point against the aforementioned Blues in their last Liberty match. And after winning 2-1 at Newcastle last weekend, the Swans are certainly in decent nick heading into this.
Liverpool may be on a seven match unbeaten league run but why does that mean they should be favourites? They are below Swansea in the table with over 30% of the season gone and have only won one of their five away Premier League games this term. Also don’t forget the Reds have lost their last two games against this opposition and there’s four draws in their seven game unbeaten run so it’s not like they’re picking up bucket loads of points at the moment.
A side as good at home as Swansea should not be 3.65 to beat Liverpool and that’s got to be the bet.
Premier League Preview
Swansea go into the weekend sitting comfortably in 10th place and their Premier League relegation odds have been eased to 8/1. Liverpool are just below the Swans in the table and after putting together a seven game unbeaten run, they’re into 6/5 to finish in the top six.
