The Fijian started his career on the European tour but soon realised his potential when he was named Rookie of the Year in the US in 1993, finishing 19th on the Money List after landing the Buick Classic.
By the time he was 40 in February 2003 he had won the USPGA (1998) and the Masters (2002). That milestone birthday seemed to be the catalyst as he went on to win four times and post eight other top four finishes that year to top the Money List for the first time.
However, it didn't stop there as the following season proved his best ever as he captured nine titles and ended the year as the world No.1 having taking the top spot from Tiger Woods. He also landed his third major when lifting the USPGA.
He won the 2000 Masters by three strokes and was in the lead at the halfway mark two years later and now has finished in the top eight at Augusta for the last five consecutive years and has been inside the top ten 18 times including all four majors.
