About The X Factor 2009
Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Dannii Minogue and Cheryl
Cole returned for a sixth series and the hit talent
competition was bigger than ever.
Auditions were held across five different venues in London,
Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff and Glasgow - in front of a live audience
for the first time - in a big to find the next big thing.
Winner Joe McElderry will be following in the footsteps of Alexandra
Burke, who won a dramatic show in 2008 to leave her with a
£1million recording contract and a debut number 1 in the shape of
'Hallelujah'.
He defeated Olly Murs in a dramatic finale on December 13th 2009, with the Stacey Soloman eliminated in 3rd place the night before.
Hosting duties were once again taken on by Dermot
O'Leary, with Holly Willoughby returning to
front spin-off show The Xtra Factor on ITV2.
With the nation sure to be gripped once more in the lead up the 2010 New
Year, betting will be as fierce as ever and here at
easyodds.com we will have all the markets covered, including winning act,
winning manager, best male, best female, top group, category betting and
many more.
