If you are one of those people who suffer from Strictly Come Dancing withdrawals, after the show ends before Christmas, fear not, as the latest instalment on the celeb show merry-go-round is Dancing On Ice.

Back for its fifth series the popular ice skating show has a similar feel to that of 'Strictly' where a whole host of celebrities are paired up with skating experts in order to learn new dances each week and hopefully be crowned king or queen of the ice.

Actress Gaynor Faye landed series one, ex-England rugby star Kyran Bracken won series two, while on series three singer Suzanne Shaw showed she's just as talented in blades and lycra by seeing off Hollyoaks actor Chris Fountain to land the crown. Series four saw Ray Quinn win in convincing fashion ahead of undercover reporter Donal MacIntyre.

Like before, ice legends Jane Torvill and Christopher Dean will be on hand to put the celebrities through their paces as they gear up for the live skate-offs each week.
