The 2012 Formula 1 season is the 63rd edition of Motor Sport's premier event. The calendar contains 20 rounds from 18th March - 25th November 2011, starting in Australia (Albert Park, Melbourne) and ending in Brazil (Autódromo José Carlos Pace, São Paulo), with 12 teams and 24 drivers currently signed up, gunning for the constructors and drivers titles respectively.

The defending champion is Sebastian Vettel, who secured back-to-back F1 Championships last year with Red Bull. Not surprisingly Formula 1 2012 betting mostly revolves around Vettel, Ferrari's Fernando Alonso and McLaren's Lewis Hamilton - both former champions themselves.

Vettel is a short priced favourite to land the World Drivers Championship once again this season, with Fernando Alonso (Ferrari) and Lewis Hamilton (McLaren) contesting the second favourite spot in the betting.

On the F1 Constructor’s Championship front, Red Bull are a short price to retain their title, followed by McLaren and Ferrari.
