Premier League Odds
Man City v Fulham (Sat, 17:30, ESPN)
Recommended football betting tip:
Fulham +1/+1.5 Asian Handicap @ 4/3 – BET NOW
Man City are struggling to kill off teams at the moment and Fulham look a touch of value on the asian handicap when they travel to the Etihad on Saturday evening.
Roberto Mancini’s side have only covered a one goal handicap in two of their last nine Premier League games. The league leaders are rarely thrashing sides at the moment and the continued absence of Yaya Toure is exaggerating the problem. City have only won two of their last six games (all competitions) since Toure left for the African Cup of Nations and they looked short of ideas up front in the 1-0 defeat to Everton on Tuesday night. With Mario Balotelli still suspended, Mancini has very few attacking options to freshen up his side.
And Fulham don’t lose many away games under Martin Jol. The Cottagers have only been defeated in three of their last nine road Premier League matches and they’ve managed 1-1 draws at both Arsenal and Chelsea in that time. With just 10 goals conceded in those nine away games, the visitors represent just the kind of well organised outfit that City have been struggling to break down this season. Jol has an almost full-strength squad to choose from and they can travel to the Etihad with nothing to fear.
All things considered, I like a price of 4/3 about Fulham with a +1/+1.5 start on the asian handicap. If Fulham draw or win the match then it’s a full stakes win, while if Man City win by one goal then you still make a half stakes profit. City would have to win by two or more goals for this bet to go down; something which has only happened in two of their last nine Premier League matches.
Premier League Preview
Man City lost 1-0 to Everton on Tuesday which saw their
Premier League winner odds drift to a best price 3/4. They now only lead the table on goal difference from Man United. Fulham currently sit 13th, a full nine points clear of the relegation zone, and they can be backed at a
best price 29/1 for the drop.
