Simon landed yet another profitable week in Birmingham on May 3rd, when he found Andy Hamilton +2.5 against Simon Whitlock at 11/10 and James Wade to throw the highest checkout against Phil Taylor at 13/8.

2012 Premier League Darts – Play-Offs, London (17th May)
Simon Whitlock v Andy Hamilton (19:10, SS2)
Andy Hamilton +1.5 Handicap @ 11/10 – BET NOW
Simon Whitlock 8-7 Correct Score @ 15/2 – BET NOW
Hamilton has only lost one of his last eight Premier League matches and he didn’t lose either of his two games against Whitlock in the regular season. The Hammer is the grittiest player on the circuit and considering The Wizard has gone off the boil a bit recently I think Hamilton can run him really close. With Hamilton’s extremely high draw rate I would also chance an 8-7 Whitlock victory at 15/2 – the Aussie’s additional class may just see him through in the end.
Phil Taylor v James Wade (20:10, SS2)
James Wade Highest Checkout @ 6/4 – BET NOW
Cast your mind back to Birmingham two weeks ago, when Phil Taylor thrashed James Wade 8-1 – but Wade still managed the highest finish! The Power’s highest checkout is only 147 – the lowest in the competition - and he averages almost 108 so there’s no need for him to take out any big scores most of the time. Wade is not averse to taking out a big score and he’ll almost certainly have to take out a few 100+ finishes to be in with a shout. At 6/4 The Machine looks value to throw the highest checkout.
