The US X Factor will premiere for the first time in September this year and is scheduled to rival American Idol for top spot in the Reality TV betting market.

Among the most talked about points of the show is the identity of the American X Factor judges. Simon Cowell has confirmed that he will take up his usual position though the Cheryl Cole US X Factor links turned out to be controversial - she was removed just weeks after being signed up. Joining Cowell on the US X Factor panel will be L.A. Reid, Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger.

Given the popularity of the UK X Factor betting markets, bookmakers are expecting a large turnover for the first series of it's American counterpart. If it follows the same guidelines then we are sure to see a few hilarious US Factor auditions mixed in with some excellent singers!
