Euro 2012 Bets
The 2012 UEFA European Football Championship will be held in Poland and Ukraine between 8 June and 1 July 2012. It will be the 14th renewal of the European Championship and will feature 16 nations, with venues spread across 8 different cities. Both Poland and Ukraine will automatically qualify for the tournament as co-hosts.
Qualifying for Euro 2012 is spread across 9 separate groups, with either 5 or 6 teams in each group and the winners qualify automatically for the finals. The best runner-up will also qualify, with the remaining second place teams playing a two legged play-off. Due to the differing number of nations in each group, the 'best' runner-up will be determined by the results of each second place team against the first, third, fourth and fifth placed sides.
Euro 2012 betting is sure to be interesting as several rank outsiders have won the tournament in recent years. Sides such as Greece (2004) and Denmark (1992) defied considerable European Championship odds to emerge victorious, though well fancied teams like Spain (2008) and France (2000) have also been triumphant this century.
